Founded in 1982 by Jim Autry in Dallas, Texas, Autry owes its fame to the Medalist sneakers. Dubbed the “shoes with the American flag”, the brand combines a sporty heritage and innovative technology with modern style. The reputation lasted until Jim’s passing in 2009, which led to the brand’s demise. In 2019, the brand was re-launched by Autry enthusiasts Alberto Raengo, Gino Zarrelli and Marco Doro. It remains true to its roots, especially in terms of innovation.
