Chitose Abe launched the Japanese brand in 1999. It became famous for its experimental collections, which juxtaposed shapes and textures as different as jersey knits and gabardine in the same garment. Abe’s recent vision has blended technical tailoring with sporty elements for women’s clothing, to which she added a men’s line in 2009, where hybrid pieces continue to make a difference in any wardrobe.
